01 · Ask Little Bean
Ask anything. Get the answer, and where it came from.
Ask what is typical for a baby this age, or how your own week is going. Every answer is drawn from Little Bean's clinically reviewed guides, with the passage it came from quoted underneath. Nothing is sent until you switch it on, and your name and your baby's name never are. Powered by Claude, the AI model by Anthropic; answers are generated in the EU. It can be wrong, and it is not medical advice.
On every plan 3 conversations a month on Standard and Family, 25 on Advanced.
02 · Logging
Breast, bottle, pump. One screen.
Start a live breast timer and put the phone down; it runs on your Lock Screen and on your partner's phone. Or log a bottle in ml or oz and take it straight from your milk stock. No drop-downs, no "save". Log after the fact or edit any entry by hand whenever you need to.
Live timer Running on every caregiver's phone and on Apple Watch.
03 · Speed
Logged before you've set the baby down.
The Today screen leads with the things you reach for most, each one a single tap. Pee, poo or both: two taps, attributed to whoever changed it. The common action is never more than one tap deep, because that's the whole point at 3 a.m.
Today · Feeding · Sleep · Diaper · Growth · Health, all one tap from home.
04 · Health
A temperature, a dose, a note.
Log what you measured, what you gave, and what you are noticing. It all sits on one Health timeline you can scroll back through at the appointment. The log records; it never interprets. No thresholds, no alerts, no diagnosis. That stays between you and your pediatrician.
Temperature · Medicine and vitamins · What you notice, on one timeline.
05 · Milk stock
Pumped milk, counted.
Fridge and freezer, oldest batch first. Pump into stock, log a bottle straight out of it, and the count stays right without a second app or a whiteboard. Nothing expires at the back.
Fridge · Freezer · Oldest first · Taken from stock when you log a bottle.
06 · Firsts
Every first, remembered.
Skills lists what babies often start doing at each age; tick one off as you spot it and keep a photo. Teething is a chart of all twenty teeth, tapped as each comes in. Moments is the album of firsts, sorted by age. The things you swore you would never forget, kept.
Skills by age · Teething chart · Moments with photos.
07 · Insight
See the pattern, not just the points.
After a week, your taps become legible: feeds per day, how sleep falls across the night, and a day-pattern view that surfaces the rhythm forming. The metrics that actually matter, on a range you choose: today, 7 days, 30 days, or custom.
Feeds, sleep distribution and diapers: trends you can read at a glance.
08 · Growth
Weight, length and head, against WHO.
Plot every measurement on the same percentile curves your pediatrician uses. Watch the trend build over weeks and months, and walk into the check-up with a clear answer instead of a guess. A curve, not a grade.
Weight · Length · Head circumference, all on WHO growth curves.
09 · First Foods
From milk to first bites.
Starting solids one food at a time: how to prepare it at each age, what it should look like on the tray, and its choking risk. Food lists are localized for 16 markets, so a Dutch and a Japanese parent see different foods on purpose. Part of the Advanced plan.
Look in on your sleeping baby, from a second phone.
Leave one phone in the room and look in from yours: picture and sound, while you are in the kitchen or out for the evening. Nothing is recorded and nothing is stored. Coming to the Advanced plan in a later update. Design preview, final screens may differ.
Hand the GP a beautifully designed PDF: growth curves, totals and the week's pattern, laid out to read. Or export the lot as a full CSV for deeper analysis or your own records. Your data is portable by design, no support ticket required.
Designed PDF for people · full CSV for spreadsheets.
Also in the box
Built for the whole first three years.
Apple Watch
Log it from your wrist
Start a feed, log a diaper or run the sleep timer from the watch, with the phone still in your pocket. The complication shows the time since the last feed, sleep or diaper, and a running timer counts live on the watch face. Included on every plan.
Lock Screen
Live timers where you can see them
A running feed or nap sits on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, and on your partner's phone too. A 3 a.m. check is a glance, not an unlock.
Care team
Multiple babies & caregivers
Both parents are included on every plan, with no extra seat to buy. On Family and Advanced, add a nanny, daycare or grandparent too, up to five caregivers and up to ten children. Everyone gets their own login and the same live log, and you switch between children in a tap.
Guidance
Notes for the week they're in
Age-based notes on what's normal now (growth spurts, leaps, nap shifts), tuned to your baby's actual weeks. No nap-math, no 2 a.m. Googling.
Reminders
Smart, proactive nudges
Gentle reminders for feeding, diapers, sleep and growth that learn your baby's rhythm, including a "Bedtime soon" at the hour your baby actually goes down. Every caregiver gets them, and they stay quiet through the night.
Your Today
The Today screen, your way
Choose which metrics sit on your home screen, and the order they appear in. Put the numbers you check most on top, and keep the rest a single tap away.
Day & night
Set your own night and day
Tell Little Bean when your night starts and ends, in 15-minute steps. Stats, sleep patterns and nudges all follow your rhythm instead of a fixed clock.
Growth
Share the growth charts
Save the three WHO growth curves as one clean, landscape PDF, ready to print, send to family, or hand the pediatrician in a tap.
Local to you
Sixteen languages & your formats
The whole app, the weekly guides and the First Foods lists in 16 languages, from English and Nederlands to 한국어, 日本語 and Русский. Metric or imperial, ml or oz, 24-hour or AM/PM, your date format. Set it once and Little Bean speaks the way you do.
Everywhere
iOS and Android
Native on both, synced in real time. One parent on an iPhone, the other on a Pixel: same log, same instant, no friction.
Free months
Refer a friend
Share Little Bean with another set of tired parents. When they start, you both get free months, a thank-you, not a gimmick.
The promise
No ads, no ad trackers, no selling your child's data, ever.
